Collection HeadingTIPS for buying your next deer hunting blind

Are you in the market for a new hunting blind? Well, you've landed in the perfect spot! Outdoors For Less has proudly led the hunting blind industry for over 25 years. Offering an extensive selection of over 200 models from various brands, we're confident there's something here for everyone! But with such a vast array of choices, you might find yourself wondering, "How on earth do I decide?"

Bow Hunting Blind vs Gun Hunting Blind

One of the most important factors in choosing your blind is making sure you have the right hunting blind for the tools you will be using. Bow blinds have much larger vertical windows for better shot opportunities. You can absolutely use a gun or crossbow in a bow blind, but using a bow in a gun blind could be a recipe for disaster. When hunting with a bow, your arrow rests much lower than your sight setup. If you are not correctly positioned, you could end up sending that arrow straight into the side of your blind. Now I know what you are thinking, "Ain't no way I'm dumb enough to make that mistake." I hear ya. I like to think that way as well, but when a 180+ testosterone fueled swamp donkey is waddling my way...I can barely remember to take the Little Debbie out of my mouth before picking up my bow. Better to be safe than sorry.

Insulated Vs Non-Insulated Deer Hunting Blinds

Insulated blinds provide a shield against chilly weather, offering a cozy environment akin to a well-insulated home.
15 degrees is super common for late season hunts in some areas. If you don't have 2 Mr. Buddy's and a 20lb tank, deer will be able to hear your bones shaking 50 yards out!

Consider the climate of your hunting grounds and your personal tolerance for cold. If you anticipate braving the elements in the colder months, an insulated blind becomes a valuable asset. However, if you relish the idea of embracing the raw, unfiltered essence of the outdoors, a non-insulated blind might be more aligned with your hunting philosophy.

One last note on Insulated blinds, interior sound. Insulated blinds are incredibly quieter on the inside and provide a layer of sound deadening that can be crucial during a hunt.

Cheap Hunting Blinds vs Premium Deer hunting blinds

Cheap is a bad word but we hear it very often from hunters on a budget so we would like to address it. With the advancements in hunting blinds technology in the past few years, you would be amazed at the hunting blinds that you can buy for under $1,500. Sure, some people would consider these 'budget hunting blinds' but if you don't need the fancy features of a high end hunting blind, why would you pay the premium?

Here are our top selling "budget hunting blinds":

On the other hand, premium hunting blinds have evolved into second homes for some hunters. Solar panels, insulated and carpeted interiors, charging ports, sealed glass windows...the list goes on and on. These new blinds are on another level! If your budget allows it, DO IT! You will never regret it.
